Meetings
Regular association meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 7pm. Meetings are held at the Saugerties Elk’s Lodge Conference Room, Route 32, Saugerties, NY 12477
Application for membership
Applications are available from members and here on our website.
Complete the application form in full using black ink. Print clearly. Your application must be notarized.
New members are inducted quarterly. Your sponsor may submit your application to the Board at any time for consideration. Your application places you on a waiting list where consideration is based on annual membership renewals. Our current membership is limited to 275 members.
Residency requirement
You must be a legal, full time resident of Ulster County, New York or one of the counties contiguous to Ulster County, New York. These counties are Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, and Sullivan.
Sponsorship
You must be sponsored by a current member in good standing. For Junior membership, only a parent or legal guardian who is a current member in good standing may be a sponsor.
Orientation
You must attend a New Member Orientation within one (1) month of being inducted into membership. The purpose of the New Member Orientation is to go over our by-laws, policies, safety procedures, range rules and property. You will have a photo taken for your member ID card. If you fail to complete the mandatory New Member Orientation within one (1) month of being inducted, your membership will be revoked. If your membership is revoked, you will receive a refund minus $50.
Probation
You will be on probation for one year (12 months) from the date you are inducted. Your first renewal is subject to Board approval.
All members are required to attend 4 monthly meetings and perform 8 hours of work duties throughout the year.
Discipline
All members are subject to disciplinary action by the Board of Directors for violation of club rules and policies.
Types of membership
Regular Membership, Adults 18+
- Initial Dues: $150.00 + One-time Initiation: $200.00
Junior Membership, youth 12 – 17
- Initial Dues: $20.00
